  • Attitude..From Negative to Positive and beyond!

    Key point 1:  Eliminate a barely get by attitude.   
    When you first started our program you probably couldn’t imagine yourself eating the foods you are eating today.  Now look at the healthy foods that you have added to your diet and now have a taste for them.  You have expanded your knowledge with a “New” way at looking at your eating habits.  You have enlarged your vision.  Ask your spiritual self to rekindle your dreams in your heart and mind about living an active and healthy life again.  Your spiritual self is capable of helping you discover your greatness.   Never let negative thoughts or restrictive beliefs about yourself ever keep you from becoming your best.  It is time for you to expect great things in your life again.  You have to be willing to change to get the most out of our program.  Today is a great day to plant new seeds in your heart and open a NEW chapter in your life.
    Note: Spiritual self: God or another higher power that guides your life.   

    Key point 2:  Expect that you will reach your goals.
    Don’t fall into the mental prison of expecting nothing better in your life, because your life will follow your expectations.  So instead of expecting less, expect MORE.  It is time to start expecting great things to happen in your life.  Expect to lose any excess weight and to get down to your ideal weight again.  Expect to feel healthy and live an active life.  Expect that you will have to go through some discomfort to get out of your old habits.  Also, expect that great feeling you get from overcoming a challenge in your life and feeling like you can do anything.  Expect exercising to reach your fitness goals.  Expect having better health when you get older and spending time with your spouse, children, grandchildren, family and friends.  To sum it up: Positive thoughts=Positive view of Life    and Negative Thoughts=Negative view of life.  Change your thoughts and change your life.

    Key point 3:  Never let your past determine your future.
    Your past “is what it is”.  You can’t change it and it is time to forgive yourself.  Let the past be a learning experience and light a fire in your soul to make a real change in your life today.

    Key point 3: Visualize eating healthy today and achieving the life you want.
    What you can believe and conceive, you can ACHIEVE.  What this means in real life is to visualize yourself achieving your goals.  For instance, the first thing you do in the morning is to visualize yourself making healthy food choices and exercising during the day.  Visualize how great you are going to feel.  Visualize yourself as a healthy, energetic, mentally alert and being the best you that you can be.  Today is going to be an A+ day.  After you do this for at least a week, you will start making healthy choices.  After you do this for a year, you WILL become that person.   But, you have to do the work today.  So start visualizing.
