Get back into our office and on your program this week if possible. Make this year different than last by not wishing you would have worked harder on your goals as you are sitting on the beach and not wearing your favorite swimsuit.
It may seem early to think about summer, but you can’t cram weight loss and health into the last minute. It doesn’t work that way. It is not like college, for those of us who didn’t prepare optimally and ended up cramming a week before finals.
So, it is simple. If you want to be healthy and look amazing this year. Start now and work at a steady and consistent pace. We have plans that you can use to reach your goals.

Donovan’s Note: If you want to make true changes in your life, start with a positive attitude. Tell yourself that you can do it and you will be absolutely right. Depending on the size of your goal, determines where you begin. Break it down into daily habits that you want to change. Pick one habit at a time and tell yourself “I can do anything for a week.”
For instance, if you want to quit drinking coffee every morning then start tomorrow. Your most important and difficult moment will be tomorrow morning when you have to un-program yourself to not have coffee. You will be fighting an automatic habit. So, if you whine and moan the first few days, that is ok and normal.
The reward though, is a week from now when you are proud of yourself for reaching your goal. The smile on your face is your reward and the increase in your self confidence and self esteem will be automatic. You don’t have to quit coffee, but pick your own challenge and something that is getting in the way of your goal.
